Many organisations are discovering that outsourcing non-core activitiesโ€”such as IT support, payroll, facilities management, or customer serviceโ€”can significantly boost both productivity and financial performance.

We offer two broad types of services, but we are always flexible in our approach.

We’ll “HELP YOU TO OUTSOURCE”

  • We help you identify the non-core areas you could outsource if you haven’t already done so.
  • Then we find appropriate service providers for you based on your requirements. We do that by searching for appropriate providers, or we will run tenders for you if that’s the approach you prefer.
  • We will shortlist suitable providers and make recommendations. We’ll present to you management team or board if you would like us to, BUT the final decision is always yours.
  • We will help you with the implementation, including staff impacts and change management

We’ll “MANAGE YOUR OUTSOURCED SERVICE PROVIDERS”

  • We’ll hold your outsourced service providers to account for delivering what they promised.
  • We’ll build straon relationships whilst keeping providers accountable.
  • We’ll monitor the performance of your service providers, reviewing indicators, attending regular performance meetings and measuring customer satisfaction, yours or your end customers.
  • We’ll identify opportunities for service improvements and cost savings.
  • We’ll keep track of your service contracts and let you know when they’re due for renewal, and discuss with you how you would like to proceed.

We charge for our services based on an hourly rate with a minimum 15-minute increment. Annual contracts can be arranged for managing outsourced service providers.
In Melbourne, plumbers typically charge between $80 and $200 per hour.

Hereโ€™s why outsourcing is good for your business and can help you grow:
โœ…Sharper Focus on Core Strengths
โœ…Outsourcing allows internal teams to concentrate on what they do bestโ€”strategic tasks that drive value, innovation, and competitive advantage.
โœ…Access to Specialised Expertise
โœ…Why build in-house capabilities for services that others already excel at? External partners bring experience, scale, and tools that are often costly to replicate internally.
โœ… Scalability & Flexibility
โœ…Outsourcing offers the ability to scale up or down with demand. This agility is vital in uncertain markets and avoids the burden of fixed overheads.
โœ… Cost Efficiency
โœ…When done strategically, outsourcing can reduce operating costs without sacrificing quality, freeing up capital for reinvestment in growth and innovation.
โœ… Improved Service Levels
โœ…Specialist providers are often more equipped to meet tight SLAs, adopt new technologies faster, and maintain compliance with changing regulations.

๐Ÿ’ก The key is to outsource strategically. To identify the areas you can outsource without impacting your core capabilities. Ensuring alignment with your goals, maintaining visibility, and managing relationships proactively.๐Ÿ’ก

Bill Ellerton has significant experience on both sides of the fence when it comes to outsourcing. As a supplier of outsourced Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) to some very large organisations like Australia Post, Mitsubishi and Faulding’s pharmaceuticals. He was the Outsourced Services Manager for a Superannuation fund with billions of dollars under management and nearly all of their activities outsourcedโ€”Administration, IT, Support Centre, Group Insurance, Custodian, Business Development (Sales) and Investment Advice, etc.
Bill understands how outsourcing works and the traps to look out for. You can call Bill on 0458 377 351 or get in touch via the Contact Us page on this website. Bill keeps his phone OFF when he is working for a customer, so please leave a message.
